You are the villain in someone’s story right now. You are the villain in someone’s story right now. So is everyone you admire. Somewhere out there is a person telling a version of events where you’re the bad guy. Sometimes you earned it and you should own that. But a lot of the time you just told the truth, held a boundary, or picked yourself over someone who wanted you small. You cannot be honest, successful, and universally liked at the same time. Pick two. Anyone who’s built anything real has a list of people who don’t like how they did it. So don’t lose sleep over the people narrating you as the villain. Half of them are just mad you stopped being convenient.

How’d she launch it, what was the funnel, what’s the ad spend? Wrong questions. The right one is why nobody with ten times her experience did it first. And the answer is that they’re all still selling “a social media course” while she sold the cure to one specific, slightly embarrassing thing people actually lose sleep over. You have one of these. A skill so obvious to you that you’ve never thought to charge for it on its own. It’s buried inside some vague offer because you’re too close to see it.
