The other day, I was visiting the local piano store. I haven’t shopped for a piano before, so I didn’t really know what they cost. The salesperson at the piano store showed me some, starting at $9.9k, then $16k. The most expensive ones were at the back of the store, so she took me back there. They were beautiful, but when she shared the price, I couldn’t believe my ears — and I’m pretty abundant! They would sell for up to $400k! Not only were people buying them, but demand was so high that they would occasionally have to add $100k on top of that sale price. In fact, she sold two of them yesterday! I knew then that there was more money changing hands right now than ever before.
