There are three empowering thoughts around money that literally shape who I am. I think about them so often that they’ve become a habit, a fundamental part of my being. And it’s these thoughts that I have worked so hard to ingrain in myself, live by, and find proof of that have completely rid me of financial fear. And I want the same for you.
The first is that my financial stability is not the amount of money I have in the bank, but my ability to create income at will. Whether I have a billion dollars in the bank or a dollar in the bank is irrelevant. Because I know that my financial stability, my ability to pay a bill, help someone out, whatever it might be, when I’m up or when I’m down, comes from my ability to create income at will.
The second empowering thought I’ve cultivated around money is the belief that all of the money that I need is out there, I just need to find it. The money you need to start your business, to pay your bills, or to build up a financial runway is all out there. Whether you borrow it, find investors, or start hustling and selling the skills you already have, everything you need is out there if you can just get resourceful enough to find it.
Lastly, and probably my favorite thought surrounding money, is that there is more than enough to go around. You just have to find enough people to meet your financial needs – and trust me, they’re out there.
If you just carry these three beliefs, and work hard to find proof of them in your life, you can squash your financial fears before they happen.
