Reaching high levels of success requires massive amounts of work, and that work should come with some serious benefits as well: freedom, fun, and life experiences. But if you’re not careful, you can get so caught up in the work that you miss out on all of that. I’m going to share a framework to help you do more of what lights you up while getting things done – and it all starts with leaning more into less.
What does “leaning more into our less” mean? For us, it means going big on the few things that really matter to us. We’re giving more effort, intention, planning, and love into fewer distractions. This carries through recreation and business. Putting more effort into fewer products or offerings can end up getting you massive results.
If you’re a talented, high achieving big dreamer, it can actually come back to bite you. There are so many things you could do well, that you end up taking on more than you should. You say “yes” to too many things and it actually works against us – and the impact we want to make.
Doing things because you can is not a good enough reason. Often you end up spreading yourself too thin, diluting your offerings, and not making as big of an impact with any of the people you’re trying to help as you should. Even if you know there’s a paycheck on the other side, you have to slow down and reevaluate. You could end up making less by doing more rather than doing less and making more. Embrace this concept of leaning more into your less and you will be amazed at what your life begins to look like.
