Is money good or bad? I’ll give you my answer upfront before I explain my reasoning: Money is neither good nor bad. It’s what you make of it.
We talk so much about jobs, the economy, and the post-pandemic world. Depending on who you’re listening to, the same thing can be great or terrible. And you need to know which it is, right? How else do you know whether you should be building or growing your business or just hunkering down to ride out the storm? The truth is, it’s always what you make of it.
Let’s look at the economy. One side says the economy is booming right now. There is more opportunity than ever before; NFTs, cryptocurrency, and entirely new markets create so much liquidity in the market that always has a trickle-down effect. The other side says that millions of people are jobless, and more and more people live in poverty. And once again, the truth is what you make of it.
None of this is inherently good or bad. It is simply what you choose to interpret it as. How you interpret it will dictate what action you take, and what action you take will determine whether it was the best time of your life or the worst time of your life. Start choosing the perspective that will empower you and ignite you to take action, and you’ll be on the side of the coin that talks about how great these times are.
