As I celebrate my 45th birthday, I’ve been taking some time to reflect on five lessons that have really helped me get to where I am today.
I wish when I was younger, someone would’ve told me that you have to be unapologetic about your message and purpose, and worry less about the few naysayers in your life. I’ve learned that you need to monetize what brings you joy, be a creator instead of a consumer, and play the long game. My eagerness to learn and consistent gratitude practice have also played a huge role in my success.
(1:05) Welcome back to The Chris Harder Show. Today, Chris is sharing five lessons that he’s learned over the last 45 years.
(1:54) Number one: Be unapologetic about your message.
(3:14) Number two: You should monetize whatever skills or whatever job or whatever business brings you joy.
(4:44) Number three: You’ve got to be a creator.
(5:54) Number four: You don’t know what you don’t know, so always be eager to learn. And what you think you know for certain is at least 50% wrong.
(7:14) Number five: You’ve got to play the long game.
(9:24) Chris shares a bonus lesson: Everything comes from gratitude.
(10:28) Chris asks listeners to share the podcast and leave a 5-star review.
